Hello -
The problem is that the hboot binary on the remote node can not find one
of the configuration files needed to boot LAM. I need some more
information to figure out what is going on.
1) Can you please send me the output from configure and make from when you
installed LAM?
2) You might want to look at the Typical Setup of LAM section of our FAQ,
especially questions 6 & 7, as they are quite helpful in configuration
issues. The FAQ can be found at:
http://www.lam-mpi.org/lam/faq/
3) How did you install LAM on the remote nodes? If you simply copied the
binaries somewhere on each node, that won't really work, as there are some
configuration files that get installed. The best way to use LAM is on a
common file system. If that isn't an option, you need to make sure ALL
the files and not just the binaries are installed on all the nodes.
