I am trying to install an R package, Rmpi, and I am receiving the error
that lam/mpi files need to have been compiled with-fPIC. I am using an
IBM p655 cluster with Suse E9.1, we have the IBM fortran compilers
installed. What file do I need to edit to correctly compile lam/mpi.
