Yoinks! Yes, this is definitely a bug (and not compiler dependent).
It looks like we broke an abstraction barrier here, but Brian, the lamd
expert, is currently unavailable. Let me consult with him and get back
to you (may be early next week).
In the meantime, the workaround is not to use --with-trillium (this has
nothing to do with --with-boot-tm).
