The LAM/MPI team is pleased to announce the release of LAM/MPI 6.5.7.
This release is a bug fix release, with few new features over the
6.5.6 release. However, there are a number of important fixes, so we
urge all users to upgrade as soon as possible.
Changes to LAM/MPI 6.5.7 include:
- Better support for Mac OS X
- Better support for NFS-mounted root file systems on Linux
- Fixed behavior of wrapper compilers when installed in /usr
- Updated MPI_GET_COUNT behavior to conform to MPI 2.1
Please see the HISTORY file in the distribution for a more complete
list of changes. Please note that the change to MPI_GET_COUNT can
affect program behavior. If your application uses MPI_GET_COUNT, you
may wish to examine the effect the change will have (it should be
trivial to update applications).
The license under which LAM is distributed has also changed. LAM/MPI
is still freely usable and distributable; please see the LICENSE file
at http://www.lam-mpi.org/license.php or in the LAM source
distribution for exact details.
Source tarballs, i386 RPMs for RedHat 7.2/7.3, and source RPMs are
available on the LAM/MPI download page:

Enjoy.
