Richard Winnett found a bug in the endianess-swapping of the MPI_COMPLEX
datatype when LAM is used on a heterogenous cluster. As such, we are
releasing LAM 6.5.4 to fix this and the set_stdio error recently reported
by Gordon Gere.
CVS users can "cvs update" to get a copy of all the latest changes.
>From the HISTORY file, here are the bugs that are fixed in 6.5.4:
- Fixed problem with -lutil not being added to the arguments list
passed by mpi{cc,CC,f77} to the underlying compiler when needed for
pty support. Thanks to Gordon Gere for the inital post about the
bug on the LAM mailing list.
- Fixed problem with MPI_COMPLEX first posted by Richard Winnett. In
an heterogenous environment, LAM was not properly byte-swapping the
datatype.
